Arthur’s Seat

Just a short walk from Edinburgh’s Royal Mile is the Holyrood Park, a 640 acre Royal Park right behind Holyrood Palace. Its main touristic point is Arthur’s Seat, a 251m high ancient volcano that gives excellent views of the city. With its diverse geology and flora it is also site of special scientific interest.

Get your camera and walking shoes and make sure to wrap up properly as it can get very windy at the top!
